We will bring you to our favourite areas, trails that are often unmarked and unmapped. Icebike Adventures is a small family owned & operated company that provides exclusive services. We keep our group sizes small to ensure that we can provide outstanding service for every guest.
Magne Kvam, the founder of Icebike is a local rider & trail builder. Magne has spent the last 20 years biking in the highlands. He continues to create new opportunities for biking in Iceland. By riding with Icebike Adventures you support locals. The people that create, scout and maintain biking trails.
Icebike is the only bike tour operator in Iceland that actively works with authorities to build and maintain trails & bike parks. Icebike is also the only company that actively scouts for new trails in the highlands. We are the pioneers. The first to do multi day mountain biking trips in Iceland, the first do to heli-biking and first tour operator to offer fat-biking trips in Iceland. This winter we became the first in Iceland to create a groomed trail. Made specifically for fat-biking, but welcoming hikers and skiers to share the trail.
Our guides are trained in mountaineering and first aid. Our trucks cross unbridged rivers to get riders and bikes to the best trails. Our biketrailers are custom built to transport bikes safely on Iceland’s rrugged roads.
When the experts come to Iceland they tend to ride with Icebike. Using Magne’s knowledge, his passion for mountain biking & knowledge of Iceland nature to find trails like no other. We have been fortunate enough to welcome pro riders every year.

Our Trailcenter is in the town of Hveragerði, about 40 minutes drive from Reykjavik center.
Easy to find, off the ring road #1 drive east. Left turn in village "Hveragerði" and drive through town following the signs "Reykjadalur" heading towards the moutains.
Multiday trips usually start with pick up in KEF international airport or in Reykjavik city center.
All tours need to be pre booked.
